Los Gatos Foster Animals
Los Gatos Foster Animals (LGFA) is a 501c3 non-profit cat rescue, dedicated to cat and kitten rescue and adoption from foster homes. We are committed to providing medical care,
love, and socialization to cats in need, and finding them forever homes. Our strength lies in our network of foster parents and volunteers. Together we are dedicated to finding each cat and kitten in our care a life-long home.
How to Adopt
Every potential adoption begins with an adoption application, which is linked below! Since our rescue is volunteer based, someone will reach out about your adoption application within 24-72 hours of completion.

Each cat and kitten in our care is housed in foster homes, which helps us get to know their individual personalities and care needs. This helps us match both fosters and their adopters with their perfect fit!

While in our care, each foster cat or kitten will receive age appropriate vetting. This includes spay/neuter, vaccination, FIV/FeLV testing, microchipping, flea prevention, and deworming. To cover their vet care, our adoption fee is $150 per cat.
Adoption Events
Los Gatos Foster Animals is partnered with the Flint Petsmart to host adoption events each weekend. They also allow our rescue to use Kitty City, the in-store cat room, for our more nervous and shy cats to acclimate to being in a new environment. This helps to better showcase their personalities to potential adopters!

Adoption events are every weekend (excluding some holidays) from 12pm-5pm. The event space is on the left hand side of the store when entering, just past the reptile section. LGFA can also do same day adoptions if your application is approved!
